Join us for an in-person, two-session series that empowers educators with an understanding of project-based learning (PBL).
This Deep Dive series empowers educator teams with a foundational understanding of project-based learning and brings this understanding to life through the creation, modification, or review of a PBL unit. This series highlights how Next Education Workforce team-based structures can strengthen the PBL instructional approach and takes educators through the steps of designing a PBL unit, while also planning for how to maximize distributed expertise. Who should attend?
While core educator teams who share rosters of students are encouraged to attend together, individuals are also welcome to attend and will create a plan for bringing back to their teams. Each participant should register individually.
What is the time commitment?
This is an in-person, two-session series from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on September 6th and September 13th, 2023.
What is the format?
The sessions are in-person and accommodate up to 50 people. The sessions will be held in 1951@SkySong, located at 1475 N Scottsdale Rd in Scottsdale, AZ.
What is the cost, what are the payment options, and what is included?
There is no cost for this event.
How soon should I register?
Registration is now open. If your educator team is attending, please have all members of your group register individually.
