Leader Launchpad
Equip your school to thrive with team-based models.
Are you ready to lead your school through a successful launch of team-based models? Join us for Leader Launchpad, a targeted series for school leaders who are preparing to launch team-based school staffing models.
Together, we’ll develop a comprehensive, school-specific plan that ensures a strong start for your pilot educator team.
- A shared vision: Define your school’s vision for team-based models, anchored in your unique “why” and community context.
- Measurable goals: Establish specific, measurable goals aligned with your vision, focusing on desired student and educator outcomes.
- A strong guiding coalition: Build a network of committed stakeholders — including educators, administrators and community members — who actively support and champion the transition to team-based staffing.
- Pilot team composition and structures: Identify your pilot team and design thoughtful structures that align with your goals.
- A detailed implementation plan: Develop an operational roadmap that includes key components such as master schedules, plans for shared learning spaces and clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- A collaborative team culture: Establish frameworks and strategies to nurture positive team dynamics, fostering a culture of collaboration, shared responsibility and belonging for both students and educators.
- Sustainable support systems: Create ongoing support structures, including monitoring, coaching and professional learning systems.
Please note: Each group will need a leader for this workshop series who will register all group members, lead teamwork throughout the learning experience and plan with the team ahead of and in between the Next Education Workforce-led sessions.
