Site Visits: Models in action Dec 1-2
What does the Next Education Workforce look like in action? Join us to visit schools with team-based staffing models.
Bring your team on a two-day Site Visit to Next Education Workforce schools and experience how team-based staffing models improve outcomes and experiences for educators and students.
This visit begins with an introduction to the Next Education Workforce, followed by site visits to one elementary and one secondary setting. At each school, you will tour the learning space and interact with school leaders, educator team members and students.
After the site visits, you will work with the Next Education Workforce team to reflect on what you saw and consider how to apply what you’ve learned to your own context.
Site Visits end with multiple workshop sessions offering a deeper dive into the design and implementation of team-based strategic school staffing models. We encourage teams to attend together and to consider using the Site Visit as a shared experience that helps prepare you to launch your own Next Education Workforce models
What past participants are saying
The Next Education Workforce Site Visit is a great learning opportunity for those trying to see the big picture of team-based models. It’s also beneficial in-the-moment planning time with your team. There are so many ‘ways’ to build this at your site, and being able to see and learn from others helps build ideas to bring home and make your own.
2023 Site Visit participant
It was an outstanding opportunity to see the ASU approach in action and learn directly from system leaders, teacher leaders, and students. I left inspired and even more motivated to advance this work.
2025 Site Visit participant
The structure is set up well, making it an easy professional development to participate in. The presenters are extremely organized and there were no activities that felt like it was not worth traveling for. The school observation and panel discussion with the school team was so insightful.
