Access high-quality training

Nanocourses are developed by world-class ASU faculty and community organizations, turning the latest research into actionable strategies for caring adults to utilize in learning environments.

Make progress in just 15 minutes

Nanocourses are short, interactive and focused. Each course is only 15 minutes, with skills and modeling of how to put that concept into action with students. The catalog has over 200 nanocourses on topics from introduction courses on how to work with children to content-specific nanocourses on facilitating problem solving or expanding reading comprehension.

Track learner progress

The administrator dashboard feature allows leaders to track learner progress, assign courses and download data right from the platform.

Yes, a one-year subscription is included in Implementation for Impact contracts. After the first year, the annual subscription fee is $2,000 for one school, and $1,000 for each additional school in a system.

An unlimited number of users at an individual school for school staff, families and volunteers are included in an annual subscription.

The robust catalog of 200 on-demand nanocourses breaks down teaching and learning competencies into easy-to-understand tips and strategies developed by world-class ASU faculty and nationally recognized community organizations. Community educators can learn how to support children in various areas, from reading skills to math strategies to systems thinking to emotional self-regulation. Nanocourses are curated by topic as well as role to help school communities find exactly what they need to support learners.

The Community Educator Learning Hub was created to help caring adults and teens access evidence-based strategies to effectively support children. The catalog of self-guided nanocourses can help paraeducators, pre-service teachers, family members, volunteers, industry experts, tutors, teaching artists, classified staff and many other community educators who support students’ academic and social growth.

Community educators are the family members, tutors, mentors and other community members who complement the work of professional educators by adding capacity to deepen and personalize children’s learning. These caring adults and teens enrich learning environments by forging authentic relationships, sharing expertise and expanding networks.

In Next Education Workforce models, complementing the core educator team are extended team members who include, but are not limited to, community educators, paraeducators, special education teachers, reading interventionists and special area teachers.
