Financially sustainable staffing models
Leaders developing Next Education Workforce models are making decisions to create new educator roles, compensate educators for expertise, dynamically group students and create additional planning time for educators. These decisions require making trade-offs to remain financially sustainable. In this document, you’ll read about how two school leaders and one district-level leader make strategic shifts in funding and time to cover the costs of their new staffing models.
We would like to acknowledge our colleagues at Education Resource Strategies (ERS) and Mesa Public Schools with whom we collaborated on a set of resources that fundamentally shaped this document.
