As a lead teacher or leader of teams, you play a vital role in your team’s success. Through the Leading Educator Teams Series, we help you build the skills to foster a collaborative culture and implement team-based practices that support student success.

This series is designed for partners in the first two years of transitioning to team-based models. Major areas of focus include:

  • Leveraging team expertise
  • Nurturing collaborative and productive team culture
  • Establishing the essential structures and systems needed for high-level instructional collaboration, ultimately positively impacting learner outcomes

Format: Virtual via Zoom

Time commitment: Four, 4-hour sessions

Strengthen team culture

Cultivate a positive and productive team culture by building trust and fostering connections among teammates.

Establish effective team structures

Design and maintain systems and structures that enable effective team collaboration, including planning routines, meeting protocols and flexible use of resources such as time and space.

Leverage team expertise

Recognize and maximize the unique skills and knowledge of each team member and align roles and responsibilities with team expertise.

Enhance learner outcomes

Plan how to enhance the learner experience and outcomes using instructional approaches possible in team-based models.

This event is for school and teacher leaders who are actively implementing team-based models in the 2025–26 school year. It is not designed for leaders who are still in the exploration or preparation phase.

Absolutely. We encourage multiple leaders from the same school or district to attend together for aligned planning and stronger implementation outcomes.

Leading Educator Teams is a virtual workshop series that includes interactive sessions, structured planning time and opportunities for peer collaboration and coaching.

Leading Educator Teams creates space for you to deepen your leadership skills related to team-based models, connect with peers facing similar implementation challenges and leave with a practical plan to guide your team into the upcoming school year.

This series is a multi-part experience with content that builds across sessions. If conflicts arise, be in touch with your coach about getting caught up.

The sessions are interactive and designed for live engagement. Full participation is recommended.
